Who Is MELVIS?
MELVIS is a impersonator, singer and comedian from Wisconsin
MELVIS was discovered riding the Zippin Pippin (Elvis’s favorite roller coaster) at Bay Beach in Green Bay, WI.
Since that day in June 2019, MELVIS has become an act based on impersonating Elvis Presley, singing his songs authentically and adding a little comedy by re-writing some out dated lyrics, and covering pop and obscure songs as Elvis (imagine Elvis singing BTS, Lady Gaga, Aerosmith, and “Tequila!”).
MELVIS got people through a tough time by performing livestreams during the COVID years of 2020 and 2021. During that time, MELVIS has added in more impersonations including:
- Rachel Maddow
- Wayne & Garth from Wayne’s World
- Sonny & Cher
MELVIS has performed hundreds of livestream shows, private parties, live shows and themed concerts in two countries, four states and dozens of venues including:
- The Cavern Club as part of International Beatleweek, Liverpool, UK
- Abbey Road on the River music festival, Jeffersonville, IN
- The Bard Theatre, Louisville, KY
- The Afterglow Lounge, Reno, NV
- The Bur Oak & The Mason Lounge, Madison, WI
- Various birthday parties, baby showers, and private events
